im Berg Festival in Salzburg.
This opera is one of the Opera highlights of the early 19th century and requires at least four excellent singers. They come from four different countries and were fantastic. The title role - played by the incredibly young Bárbara Barradas (de Portugal), already winner of the prize Grandi Voci 2013 (!) - she was fascinated from the first moment vocally and dramatically. What her colleagues gradually work throughout their careers, it is convincingly already audible and visible pronounced in her performance. The role requires nothing less than: C, C#, D, an Eb! The duets with the worthy to be heard Alisa (Natsumi Uchi, Japan) are a real feast for the ears. It would be futile to give more details because, in short: you can not sing better. A future superstar, thus, of course is a challenge for everyone, especially for her colleague Edgardo. [...]
